The Lithuanian Think Tank We aim: • To facilitate civil society engagement across sectors and interest in partnership with socially responsible corporations and government institutions. • To accelerate social and economic policy enhancements through dynamic, innovative solutions. • To channel positive change and prosperity within communities. • To engage Lithuania in the international agenda. IDĖJŲ ŠALTINIS – LITHUANIAN THINK TANK combines cross-sector analysis and dialogue to improve public awareness on key public policy issues. Priority areas for 2007-2008: • Effective education reform, encompassing all levels and including life-long learning. • Comprehensive health and social welfare enhancements for the general wellbeing of society. • High tech industry expansion in collaboration with science, industry and government. • Enhanced Lithuanian tourism and convention facilities to develop opportunities for growth and expansion across sectors. • Strengthened civil society coordination and engagement in emerging public policy issues. |
